How To Block A Number On iPhone

You love doing your favorite stuff on your iPhone. The stuff could be browsing websites for something important, making/receiving calls, sending text or WhatsApp messages, or watching favorite videos. You do nothing on your iPhone when you are attending a business meeting, having a gathering with your close ones, or discussing something important with your family members. Incoming calls or messages at that moment can make you annoyed or have an interruption. Blocking certain numbers or enabling no calls from strangers is the best way to get rid of the same. 

Block a Number on iPhone with the Phone App  

• Go to the Phone application on your iPhone and open it. 
• Click on Recents.
• Click on the info button, i. This button is usually located next to the contact or phone number you wish to block.
• Click on the Block this Caller option while scrolling down the options. 

Block a Number on iPhone with the Messages App 

• Tap on the Messages app on your iPhone. It could be at the bottom of your home screen or the list of installed apps based on your device settings. 
• Click on the conservation to open it and tap on the contact that might be at the top of that conversation. 
• Tap on the button with the i sign. 
• Click on the Block this Caller option as you come to it while scrolling down the displayed options.

Block a Number on iPhone with the FaceTime App

• Go to the app, FaceTime, on your iPhone.
• Click on the button representing i. It might be next to the contact, mobile number, or email address you are willing to block.  
• Click on the Block this Caller tab as you come across it while scrolling down the on-screen options. 

Block a Number on iPhone the Mail App

• Go to the Mail app on your iOS smartphone.
• Open an email. The email could have contact/mobile numbers. 
• Take the number from where you want to block.
• Click on the contact that could be at the bottom or the top. 
• Click on the Block this Contact option.  

Block a Number on iPhone the Settings App

• Open the app, Settings, on your iPhone.
• Go to the option, Blocked Contacts.
• Add the new number you want to stop for unnecessary calls, messages, or voicemail. Otherwise, you can choose the mobile number you are willing to block. 
• Turn on the Calls from Unknown/Stranger numbers if you wish to block all unknown numbers temporarily or permanently.
