Buying a new iPhone or iPad is very exciting for you. As you get it, you need to set it up and transfer your data to it. Transferring data from the existing iPhone to a new iPhone is quite easy as Apple has made it simpler through the user manuals and blog posts on its support website.

Use iCloud to transfer your data

Step 1: Turn on your new iPhone.

Step 2: Wait until a Hello screen appears on the device. You can skip these steps if you have set up your new Apple phone.

Step 3: Follow the on-screen instructions until a Wi-Fi screen appears on your mobile.

Step 4: Click on a Wi-Fi network to connect your device to it.

Step 5: Keep following the instructions until the Apps & Data option appears on your screen.

Step 6: Now, click on Restore from iCloud Backup.

Step 7: Use your Apple ID with your respective password to sign in to iCloud.

Step 8: Select a backup when you are asked for it. Check the date and size of each to ensure it is the correct data.

Step 9: Sign in to each if you used multiple Apple IDs to purchase App Store content and iTunes. Skip the step by clicking on Don’t Have An Apple ID or Forgot It if you are unable to recall passwords.

Step 10: Wait until the restore process finishes. After that, follow the remaining on-screen setup instructions. As far as possible, keep your device plugged into the power supply outlet and connected to the Wi-Fi network during the whole process. It will help get your apps, photos, music, and allied content stored in iCloud automatically downloaded to your new iPhone.

Use Quick Start

Step 1: Ensure your existing iPhone has a stable Wi-Fi connection and its Bluetooth is on. Turn your new iPhone on and place it close to your existing device.
