3 Best Ways to Uninstall an App in Android Device

After buying your Android smartphone or tablet, you download and install some apps to enjoy your device more and make your phone usage experience better. These apps are in addition to the ones that come with the device or are available from its factory settings. After some time, you may notice performance problems or space issues on your Android device. Uninstalling the unused or useless applications can help you clear some space in your device and make it perform well.  

Uninstall an App in Android with the Settings App  

  • Unlock your Android device and go to the Settings app on it. 
  • Tap on Apps while scrolling down the on-screen options. 
  • Go to Manage apps under the Apps tab.
  • Choose Uninstall from the options under Manage Apps.   
  • Click on Uninstall and select the apps you want to delete or uninstall from your Android phone or tablet. 

  • Tap on Uninstall (located at the bottom of the device screen) as you make your app selection 

Uninstall an App in Android with Home or App Drown Screen 

  • Unlock your Android device by drawing a pattern or using a PIN or Face ID/Finger Tip. 
  • Go to the Home Screen or the list of installed apps. 

  • Choose the app you want to uninstall or delete from your device. 

  • Choose Uninstall from the three displayed options ((Share, App Info, and Uninstall) that appear on screen after touching an app. 
  • Click on Uninstall to confirm  

Uninstall an App in Android with the Google Play Store 

  • Go to the Google Play Store to open it as you unlock your device.

  • Click on the Profile icon that will be located in the top right corner. 
  • Tap on Manage after clicking on Manage apps & devices.

  • Choose the app/s (one by one) you want to uninstall. 

  • Click on Uninstall to confirm the deletion of the selected app or apps.
